We are proud of releasing our first all-out video publishing software named DoughnutVideoPublisher, this time. The DoughnutVideoPublisher is the simplest and the most cost effective or affordable approach to publish 360-degree motion pictures or 360-degree MotionVR among those similar products currently available in the market. Notably, the DoughnutVideoPublisher is capable of projecting almost any type of doughnut shaped video images into a normal, perspective or rectilinear as well as a stereographic views, by means of our proprietary techniques accommodating almost any type of panoramic mirrors whether it’s a DIY equipment or a commercially available product such as Pano-pro’s, 0-360’s, GoPano’s, EGG Solution’s, or Sony’s Bloggie etc. In addition, the DoughnutVideoPublisher allows you to easily transcode any type and format of video clip captured through a commodity camcorder or video camera into an optimized and the most suitable FLV stream for publishing 360-degree motion pictures on the Net.
While you could use the DoughnutVideoPublisher without registration as freeware, some of the functions are disabled in the un-registered mode; the duration, FPS, and bitrates of the output video clip are locked to the default values; 5 seconds, 20fps, and 960kbps respectively, but all of the other functions are workable without any limitation or restriction even in the un-registered mode which is available for free of charge.
Benefits
Our DoughnutVideoPublisher includes a range of unparalleled benefits over existing solutions currently available in the market, as follows:
- Provides the simplest and the shortest cut for publishing 360-degree video on the Net.
- Provides the most inexpensive or affordable solution to publish 360-degree video on the Net.
- Accepts almost any type and format of video images generated from existing camcorders or video cameras.
- Accommodates any type of panoramic mirrors including the convex equidistance (parabolic or hyperbolic mirror), the concave equidistance (EGG Solution’s) and the convex orthogonal (such as DIY spherical mirror).
- Provides an optimized transcode process to generate the most suitable video stream for publishing 360-degree video clips on the Net.
- Allows users to customize and control the characteristics of the final video streams such as:
- FPS (Frame Per Second)
- Video bit-rate
- Duration
- Image sharpness
- Provides an easy-to-use editing process for cropping the doughnut image, configuring the projection as well as managing the viewing experiences (such as the initial values of FOV, yaw, pitch, the values of elevation, depression, and other parameters like vertical-limit, nadir-locking, vertical-flip, horizontal-flip etc.).
- Provides an extra functionality as a simple transcoder which is capable of transcending any type of video clip into an FLV video stream which is optimized for publishing on the Net, without involving the editing process described above.
- Provides an exact visibility to the transcode process with a real progress status instead of a fake indicator as with some existing products.
- Provides a convenient directory management, allowing users to independently keep stayed at the input path for loading video clips and the destination path for saving transcoded video clips (FLVs).
